Almost a year. Damn. To say a lot has happened would be an understatement. The move. The betrayal. The healing. The joy. The loss. I will begin to elaborate on some of it as the days come if I feel I can. I will start tonight with the move.
We are out in the country. We have our animals out here with us. A one room school house. We love it. For the most part. Just need to get the addition done. The kids absolutely love it out here. Spring brought us more than double the number of goats in about 2 months. 8 new babies. All healthy. All of our ducks and chickens are laying steadily, time to get an incubator going. Beautiful sunrises, amazing sunsets. Ducks and geese on our pond all the time. Stargazing in our yard without leaving town to do it. Northern Lights at 5:00 in the morning, thanks Caitie. Watching a lightning storm at night that is clear over in Minnesota. Lots of little things.
There are many things we love. Very little to dislike. The lack of addition. The blacktop closer than what I would like. And some damn airplane that flies nearby our farm every night around 10:00. lol.... little things. I guess that is all life is.. a bunch of little things all put together.
